Poland is really nice country. I recommend to visitors. I stayed in Wroclaw city, prices are cheap comparing to other countries. Accommodation easy and safe. It has lots of bridges and rivers you can take nice photos
Posted: April 17, 2024I spent 6 weeks in Poland. It was beautiful and very safe. I was alone everywhere, from the Masuria region to Zakopane. It's very easy to get around Poland, and the people are very nice. Their public transportation is great, and Uber is very reasonably priced.
Posted: September 12, 2023Poland is very safe. I have been to Poland many times and I have never had any problems. I always travel to the south-east region: Krakow, Nowy Sacz, and the Tatras. Wonderful country and very good Polish food. Especially pierogi, borscht, trout, and much more.
Posted: September 7, 2023I must say that Poland has exceeded my expectations. What a beautiful country. Easy to navigate, clean, safe, with old world charm, inexpensive, hospitable for tourists, fantastic food, fairy-tale views and places. I used the Old Town in Krakow as my base, and visited Krakow, Auschwitz-Birkenau, the Wieliczka Salt Mine, Zakopane in the Tatra Mountains, went on a train trip to Wrocław, and even took part in a dumpling-making course, run by a local resident in the Kazimierz district in Krakow. I highly recommend it.
Posted: September 6, 2023I visited Poland with a friend and felt like I was in a different world. Incredibly safe despite the language difference. Everything is orderly, clean, and beautiful, and the transport system is easy to understand. The architecture, nature, people, everything is unique. I hope to return there one day.
Posted: September 5, 2023Poland was never on my list of places to visit, but I had the chance to go there last June for three weeks and it was fantastic. I started in Gdansk, then went to Poznan, then to Warsaw, and finally to Krakow. All the time, I felt absolutely safe. The Poles were hospitable and friendly.
Posted: August 1, 2023Moving around Poland by myself, I really enjoyed it and felt very safe, even in the early morning hours. Excellent value for money, and the people were super friendly. I felt safe and confident eating, drinking and exploring alone. I highly recommend it to people interested in history, nature or architecture.
Posted: July 11, 2023I was in Poland last year for three weeks, living in a camper. We would stop at parking lots etc. and never felt unsafe. I was in Gdansk, Torun, Poznan, Katowice, Wroclaw, Krakow and Zakopane. Poland is beautiful country with great food and it is very cheap. The only places where I felt weird were tiny towns that I passed through - people look at you as if they don't get many visitors, but that happens everywhere and we did not encounter any problems.
Posted: June 13, 2023I was in Warsaw and Krakow and I felt incredibly safe. People generally speak English very well, especially in tourist areas. Buses and public transport are efficient and I felt safe. I travel with a tripod and a camera and I set them up for pictures and I didn't have any problems.
Posted: April 9, 2023I traveled all over Poland last year and found it to be very safe. I also had no problems with the language - most people at least understand English, even if they cannot hold a conversation.
Posted: April 9, 2023At night, the dark streets are safe, but drunk people are everywhere. They are sometimes a little insistent on asking for money, but other than that, no one bothers you. People don't really care what you do

It's quite safe here, except for animals like dogs. I am generally scared of the possibility of being bitten by a dog, but I haven't experienced something like that. Thank God :) People are safe enough here. I can go anywhere without a doubt.

I was in Warsaw and Krakow and I liked it very much. Great food and drinks. I used the Viator app to book walking tours. I also did a lot of walking on my own. I also went to Auschwitz for a one-day trip. Things there were also cheap.
Posted: November 6, 2023Last summer, I went to Poland alone, using InterRail. I really enjoyed it and couldn't understand why I hadn't gone there earlier. The people were friendly, and there was always someone who spoke English and wanted to help. I found the prices to be very reasonable. It was nice to walk among the buildings, often a mixture of new and old. Great urban squares with lots of people outside and pleasant temperatures.
