I was in Bari with my daughter and I felt safe. The old town of Bari is very beautiful, though small. Overall, it's not an exceptionally charming city, but it's quite decent and definitely a great starting point. We stayed in a district located between the station and the old town, and everything was fine there. As is tradition in Italy, the areas directly around the station are the least pleasant.
Posted: November 8, 2023Bari itself was nothing special, but the surrounding towns were wonderful. I recommend Monopoli, Polignano a Mare, Matera, Alberobello, Locorotondo, Trani. I traveled alone and felt safe, but I didn't walk around alone after dark, except for the first day in Bari. I focused on intensive sightseeing.
Posted: November 7, 2023Bari was not my favorite destination. It's a big city, located on the coast, so you constantly inhale exhaust fumes. I was staying a bit outside of the city, but I could still hear the noise of cars from the nearby highway. On the positive side, there were good bus and train connections for exploring other parts of Italy. I came back earlier than planned because it was not quite the right place for me. I prefer more greenery. As for safety, I didn't feel bad, I traveled everywhere on foot or used public transport.
Posted: November 7, 2023I think there is so safe. Peoples kind and helpful for me. Dont worry about the safe. I am a girl 21 years old. ı dont worry about safe. Already everywhere is centre in the Bari so you can find some people always for you feel more safe
Posted: March 19, 2024Safe in tourist places; just avoid walking in dark streets alone. The city also offers beautiful beaches, delicious cuisine featuring seafood and local specialties like orecchiette pasta, and a vibrant cultural scene.

I went to Bari for a week for my first solo trip and I definitely recommend this place if you want to relax on the beach and explore a bit of the area. I did not encounter arrogant comments or unfriendly people at any time. I walked around the city alone at night a few times and never felt uncomfortable. The only challenge was finding a free table, as it was very crowded everywhere and I had to wait for a place.

Sevcan
Hello, I'm Sevcan. I am a student in Istanbul. Although my life is stuck in the triangle of school-home-work, I try to be intertwined with nature every time I find. Although dog walking is an activity I enjoy, unfortunately I don't have a dog. But I have 2 cats, but it is more accurate to say that I have 2 children:D I have the habit of following artistic activities and examining everything I see in detail. I hope we can get along well, thank you for reading and I hope you have a good day.
